Volunteer

The Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation welcomes interested individuals, who are committed to helping students in Hastings and Prince Edward counties overcome barriers and succeed in school. There are a variety of opportunities available with our various committees including The Student Emergency Fund committee, Prom Project Committee, The Good Backpack Committee and the Food for Learning Committee.

Learning Foundation volunteers make a lasting difference in the life of many local area students. Volunteer experiences vary and are available today!

Volunteers are also needed from Monday to Friday at local area schools to assist with Student Nutrition Programs. You could help impact the daily lives of children and youth by ensuring that they have the nourishment they need to learn and succeed. Schools throughout Hastings and Prince Edward counties need volunteers to help them with their programs!

Volunteers are needed to:

  • Prepare and serve food to children
  • Assist with program logistics
  • Deliver groceries
  • Devote time to various fundraising initiatives
